Process
Lang works with clients from initial concepts to the start of construction. The process is split into three distinct phases: schematic designs, design development & construction documents.
Schematic DesignIt all starts with collaboration. During the first meeting, clients discuss their requirements based on style, size and cost. After the meeting,those requirements are turned into an initial design. It’s rare to get a design perfect from the start, so from the first schematic design a process of fine tuning begins.

Design DevelopmentThis phase involves finalizing the schematic design through product & material research, coordinating with the appropriate engineering teams, and developing critical construction techniques and details.

Construction DocumentsOnce a design is finalized, a detailed and precise set of construction documents is created. Everything a builder needs to construct the house is laid out within this set of plans.
